An always popular and again so simple breakfast meal.
Alternative toppings include fruit salad, maple syrup & bacon. Mama G used to put tomato sauce on hers when she was little “It’s just eggy bread” she said.
Bread, a couple of eggs (we used 3), a splash of milk.
Your favorite French Toast toppings.
N.B. the container with the pink lid is genuine Maple syrup from Canada….you can’t beat it.
Put your eggs into a flat dish, add a splash of milk and whisk with a fork.
Add and soak both sides of your bread in the eggy mix.
Pop it into a hot frying pan (our frying pan is non-stick, if your frying pan is not non-stick add a little butter to stop the French Toast from sticking).
Make a few pieces and serve it hot.
